From IT Technician to Entrepreneur: The Story Behind Friendly Tech Consultancy
As the founder of Friendly Tech Consultancy, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. I have worked as a career IT technician and system administrator, where I honed my technical skills and gained a thorough understanding of business technology needs. After taking a break to care for my sick mother, I worked part-time as a caregiver for several years. I had my first inspiration for starting a business in late 2020, and by mid-2021, I was exploring the idea of providing tech support for individuals and small businesses.
In early 2022, I was asked to design my first website for a local not-for-profit organization, which helped me develop my website design skills and provided me with my first experience working with clients. Later that year, I discovered Field Nation, which provided me with new opportunities to share my technical expertise with a broader audience, particularly in the commercial sector.
I started working full-time as an IT contractor for local businesses in early October 2022, and I’ve been helping businesses of all sizes solve technology problems and meet their technology needs ever since. I am passionate about helping businesses succeed through technology, and I am committed to providing the highest quality tech support and consulting services to my clients.
